A man in his 50s has been arrested on suspicion of murdering an elderly man in a small town in Nybro municipality.
The man is, according to the district court, reasonably suspected, which is the lower degree of suspicion.
According to the prosecutor, the man was murdered at some point between Friday and Saturday. The man, who was in his 85s, was found dead on Saturday and initially the police described the circumstances as unclear.
The two men are said to have had a prior relationship with each other, according to local media.
