A 50-year-old man has been detained since earlier for involvement in the explosions near Israel's embassy in Denmark at the beginning of October. The Danish police have not wanted to disclose what the man is suspected of, citing increased secrecy.
Two Swedes, 16 and 19 years old, are suspected of transporting five hand grenades and of throwing two of them at an address in Hellerup north of Copenhagen, where Israel's embassy is located. They are also suspected of terrorist crimes.
During a remand hearing in the Copenhagen court, it emerged that the 50-year-old is suspected of having given money to the Swedish teenagers.
The boys have, among other things, used the money to buy an electric scooter, which they later used to get to the crime scene, according to the Danish police.
The 50-year-old man has been remanded in custody against his will until November 27.
He denies the crime.
On Tuesday, the Swedes approved the remand until November 7. The Copenhagen police have previously stated that a prosecutor will request that the Swedes be detained for terrorism in connection with the next remand hearing.
