A man in his 50s is being treated for very serious injuries after a fire in Västervik, reports Region Kalmar.
We were dispatched at 20.03, when there was a fully developed fire on the top floor of an apartment building, says police spokesperson Sara Andersson.
One person was in the apartment.
The fire is now extinguished.
We are still on site, so we'll see if it leads to any suspicion of crime, says Andersson.
