A young man has been shot and injured in central Norrköping. The injured was taken to hospital by ambulance.
According to Region Östergötland, the man, who is in his 18-year-old, is critically injured and in a life-threatening condition. His condition is critical and he was operated on urgently.
The alarm about the shooting came at 19.40 on Thursday and several police patrols were sent to the location where the man was found.
The police have arrested a suspected person. The incident is classified as attempted murder and serious weapons offense.
The crime scene has been cordoned off for a technical investigation. According to the police, technicians have secured some findings.
