The number of entrepreneurs who expect a positive development in their business over the next three months is increasing, according to SEB's entrepreneur indicator.

27 percent now believe in a positive development, compared to 23 percent in last month's measurement. The proportion who believe in an unchanged development is simultaneously decreasing from 63 to 57 percent.

On the other hand, the indicators for liquidity, turnover, and working hours are decreasing compared to the previous month.

"Summer is a time when even entrepreneurs tend to go on low gear, which explains why all economic indicators are turning down this month. But as more interest rate cuts become a reality in the autumn, it is expected to have a clearer impact on order books and thus also a cautious recovery of all indicators", says SEB's private economist Américo Fernández in a comment.
