The world's richest person, Tesla founder Elon Musk, has donated over 70 million dollars – approximately 735 million kronor – to support Donald Trump's presidential election campaign, according to information that has now been made public.
Musk made the donation last summer, when the money was transferred to the fundraising organization America PAC, which supports Trump.
"America PAC has only common sense as its goal, middle-of-the-road values," Musk stated on X shortly after his donation was made public.
So far, America PAC has spent 38 million dollars on door-to-door canvassing among voters.
Elon Musk publicly announced his support for Trump in the presidential election last summer and has since participated in one of the former president's campaign meetings in October.
