The doping case surrounding the world's top tennis player, Jannik Sinner, seemed to be over – but last week the anti-doping organization Wada appealed the verdict to the sports arbitration court, Cas.

Now the Italian is telling about how the pressure from the appeal is affecting him.

It's not a situation I feel comfortable in, it's clear, because I thought it was over... so it's not easy, says Sinner at a press conference.

The 23-year-old tested positive for doping on two occasions in March. His explanation, that he had ingested the anabolic steroid clostebol through a massage by his physiotherapist who had injured his finger and used an ointment for the injury, was accepted and led to his acquittal.

Since then, he has been able to continue playing as usual and a month ago he won the US Open for the first time.

I had three interrogations that went my way, which was good, but now we'll see. But I'm very confident that it will end well, says Sinner.

Wada wants to see Sinner banned for up to two years.
