Russia warns USA of "consequences" after a Ukrainian drone attack on Crimea on Sunday. The attack was carried out, according to the Russian authorities, with American Atacms drones.
The Russian Foreign Ministry has summoned the US Ambassador Lynne Tracy and is reported to have stated that Washington "bears the same responsibility as the Kiev regime for this atrocity" and that the attack "will not go unpunished".
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitrij Peskov accuses the USA of "killing Russian children" and refers to comments from Russia's President Vladimir Putin about arming countries to potentially launch attacks on Western targets.
According to Russian reports, four people were killed, including two children, and hundreds of people were injured in the attack on Crimea.
As early as Sunday, the Russian Defence Ministry stated that it holds the USA responsible for the attack.
