The operation has been concluded after the alarm about a suspected drowning accident in Storforsen in Piteälven, according to the rescue service for TT.
The rescue service was alerted to the scene on Saturday evening after personal belongings were seen floating on the water, local media reports.
The operation was later discontinued in the evening since no one was found in the water. The ambulance helicopter that was sent to the scene to assist in the search has returned.
