According to the newspaper itself, the report was filed after they published an article earlier in the week with serious allegations against Verrett. In the article, a Swedish man accuses Verrett of sexual assaults during "shaman" sessions.
I asked him to stop, but he didn't, says the man in question in the article.
Verrett's spokesperson has previously denied the allegations of sexual assaults. Now, they are also taking the newspaper to court.
The wedding between Princess Märtha Louise and the scandal-ridden Durek Verrett in August was widely covered. The American has a history marked by scandals and conspiracy theories – among other things, he has claimed that children get cancer because "they want to", that chemotherapy is pointless, and that spirits cause sexually transmitted diseases.
According to measurements made after the wedding, nearly seven out of ten Norwegians want to strip Märtha Louise of her princess title.
