Sunny in large parts of the country – more to come

After this week's rain and gusts, it's clearing up in large parts of the country. It's sunny over almost the entire country, says Klara Logren, meteorologist at SMHI.

The sun is making a comeback over the weekend and the mercury is expected to reach 18 degrees in southern Sweden and 15 degrees in the north.

And sun worshippers should take advantage of it – because already on Monday and Tuesday, rain is moving in over parts of Götaland and Svealand. At the same time, cloud and rain are expected to move in over the western parts.

But towards Wednesday and Thursday, there will be high pressure, and then we'll get more sun again, says Klara Logren.

Despite the relatively high daytime temperatures, the nights can get chilly. During the night towards Saturday, minus degrees were recorded in a few places in the country. As far south as Hagshult in Götaland, it was -1.2 degrees.

Autumn is knocking on the door.

We have autumn temperatures in parts of the inland areas in both Norrland, Svealand, and also Götaland.
