A commuter train was evacuated on Thursday in Knivsta south of Uppsala after it had run into a concrete object lying on the track, several media outlets report.
The train sustained damage that made it impossible to continue and the passengers had to get off.
Someone has deliberately placed a concrete object on the track. We classify the incident as sabotage and therefore the police have also been called in, says Karolina Wichman, communicator at the traffic administration, to SVT Uppsala.
