At least two people were killed in an Israeli attack on southern Syria on Wednesday, according to the state-run Syrian news agency Sana.
According to the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), at least three people were killed and a further eleven injured in the airstrikes targeting Iran-backed groups.
Israel rarely comments on specific attacks in Syria but has several times stated that the country will not allow Iran to expand its presence there.
