Tandberg's show - decided from 40 meters

Cathinka Tandberg was behind most of Hammarby's 5-0 win over BP. She scored 1-0 in the fifth minute. Then the Norwegian punctuated the match with a projectile from 40 meters. It was just a test, says the 20-year-old.

Hammarby is at least temporarily back in second place in the women's top division after Friday's away win against Brommapojkarna.

Thanks largely to Cathinka Tandberg, last year's top scorer, who has been a success since arriving from Linköping last summer.

The 1-0 goal was her sixth in as many matches for "Bajen" and her tenth overall this season. The eleventh would come a little later.

Another Norwegian, Julie Blakstad, scored 2-0 before ten minutes had been played, and Tandberg then provided the match's highlight a few minutes before the break. The 20-year-old won a ball duel at the center circle and had already seen that BP goalkeeper Anna Koivunen was far out.

Tandberg turned around and shot quickly – and saw the ball go into the goal over a helpless Koivunen.

I know I have a good shot and I saw that the goalkeeper was far out, so it was just a matter of trying, says Tandberg to Viaplay.

Emma Westin countered with 4-0 with 20 minutes left, and Hammarby eventually won 5-0 after Anna Koivunen let in Smilla Holmberg's pass in the 84th minute.

Next up for Hammarby is a tougher opponent on paper. On Wednesday, Portuguese Benfica comes to Tele2 Arena for the first qualifying match in the Champions League, best of two.
