Taylor Swift's fans gave rise to seismic activity at Friday's concert at Murrayfield stadium in Edinburgh, writes The Guardian.
The activity, caused by 73,000 fans, was recorded by measuring stations six kilometres from the stadium. It's about movements of a few nanometres – far from a real earthquake.
The movements were particularly recorded when fans danced to "Ready for it?" and "Cruel summer".
The fans have a habit of surpassing other arenas in volume and intensity at the end of the song "Champagne problems" during each concert of Taylor Swift's mammoth tour "The eras tour". Another peak is recorded at this point.
Taylor Swift still has a way to go to match the hysteria of Harry Styles' fans in May. They achieved the highest seismic activity measured at Murrayfield stadium since the measurements began.
