Martin and Salmanzadeh are also nominated for the prize for this year's song for Ariana Grande's "We can't be friends (wait for your love)".
One of the nominees in the category for this year's breakthrough is the rapper C Gambino, who was shot to death in a parking garage in Gothenburg at the beginning of June. Also in the breakthrough category are Hanna "Yaeger" Jäger, Ellen Krauss, and Kristin Carpenter.
The winners will be announced during the gala, which takes place at Artipelag in Stockholm on November 8.
