A request from Sean "Diddy" Combs' lawyers to the court chairman is made the day after six new lawsuits against him were filed with the court.
After the federal indictment against Combs in September, several people accusing him of sexual assault want to sue him on their own. Lawyers driving the processes claim that over 100 people have made accusations against the hip-hop star, but that their names should be kept secret, as they are victims of sexual assault.
Combs claims through his lawyers that he must know who is accusing him so that he can prepare his defense for the trial. Combs' lawyers claim that many of those accusing him are fortune hunters who are only after money.
The trial following the federal indictment against Sean "Diddy" Combs, 54, is scheduled to begin on May 5 next year. Combs is accused, among other things, of multiple cases of sexual assault and human trafficking, but denies all allegations.
For the time being, the hip-hop profile is detained after being denied his request to be released and instead be monitored with an ankle tag.
