Tiktok has shut down the SD's anonymous accounts on the platform, confirms the social media platform to TT.
It concerns 13 accounts on Tiktok that have now been shut down. Tiktok does not want to comment on why they chose to block the accounts.
The shutdown of the SD's anonymous accounts has to do with the revelation from TV4's Kalla fakta a couple of weeks ago.
For several years, the Sweden Democrats have denied running anything that could be called a "troll factory". But in the revelation, 23 anonymous accounts were identified as being controlled from the SD's communications department, of which 13 were on Tiktok. Now they have been removed.
According to the SD, they are seeking an explanation from Tiktok as to why. The party's press chief Oskar Cavalli-Björkman does not want to comment further on the matter.
Will you start new anonymous accounts or have you already done so?
I cannot comment on that at present, says Cavalli-Björkman.
