Only just over two hours after Donald Trump was shot during a campaign rally in the state of Pennsylvania in the USA, T-shirts began to be sold – printed with an image of a wounded and bloody Trump raising his fist, writes South China Morning Post.

It is the popular Chinese e-commerce platform, Taobao, that began printing T-shirts with an image of Trump – right after he was shot. The text: "Shooting makes me stronger" – Trump 2024.

The sale started even before many governments around the world had time to react to the event. One of the sellers on Taobao tells South China Morning Post that they began printing the T-shirts with the image as soon as they heard the news about the shooting.

Within three hours, we saw more than 2,000 orders from both China and the USA, says the seller to South China Morning Post.

Even loyal Trump supporters are using the assassination attempt to gather support and campaign funds. According to the news site Politico, T-shirts with the ex-president's bloody face and the message "Fight! Fight! Fight!" are being sold via social media. The money is said to go directly to Trump's campaign.

Besides T-shirts, mugs, stickers, and buttons are also being sold.
