The warning lights flashed red around the 14-year-old's criminality and gang affiliation. Two years later, he is suspected of breaking into two villas and shooting three people dead within the space of a day.

When the trial began, a tumult broke out.

The boy was 16 years old when he was arrested with an automatic carbine in a taxi just minutes after the double murder of two women in a villa in Tullinge on 13 October last year.

The previous evening, a 40-year-old man was shot dead in his home in Västberga. A woman was seriously injured by gunfire and the couple's child, whom she was holding, was also hit by a bullet.

On Monday, the trial of the now 17-year-old boy began, charged with three murders and seven attempted murders. Among the co-defendants are a 15-year-old boy suspected of instigating the murders and a 16-year-old girl suspected of aiding and abetting murder.

Due to the defendants' young ages, it was decided that the trial would be held behind closed doors.

In the morning, a tumult erupted in the courtroom after the 17-year-old, according to TV4, mocked the victims' relatives. One of the plaintiffs allegedly smashed furniture outside the courtroom, prompting the police to intervene.

The murder suspect, from Linköping, was taken into care by social services in autumn 2021, at the age of 14, under the LVU.

The Administrative Court writes in its judgment that he "despite his young age has a solid background in criminality and violence". He is not criminally responsible, but already features in 28 cases with the police, suspected of serious crimes such as obstruction of justice, robbery, and assault.

“NN moves in criminal circles and he does not understand the risks he is exposing himself to through his associations. NN has himself stated that he receives free drugs, money, and personal protection from these criminal gangs”.

In the judgment, he is described as a vulnerable boy who runs the risk of being exploited in the criminal contexts he moves in.

Two years later, he absconds from an HVB home and makes his way to Stockholm. There, he is suspected of being hired to commit two of the most sensational crimes during the autumn's wave of violence.

The crimes are linked to the fragmented Foxtrot network.

None of the victims are said to have any connection to gang criminality. At the address in Tullinge, a man was registered who, through family ties, has a connection to a gang criminal.
