The Jewish Community in Malmö is sounding the alarm about increased anti-Semitism – something that is now being heard by the US.

The Jewish Community is experiencing an increase in everyday anti-Semitism since October 7th last year. The collaboration with the City of Malmö is working – yet more is needed, according to the community's spokesperson Fredrik Sieradzki.

Delegate Deborah Lipstadt, who has visited a number of countries to get an insight into what is being done to combat anti-Semitism, has during her Malmö visit visited schools and met with the City of Malmö's administration.

TT: What advice do you have for the city's governing body?

This is not the first time a US delegate against anti-Semitism has been in Malmö. In 2015, delegate Ira Forman, representing former US President Barack Obama, visited the city and expressed concern about the situation of the Jews.
