Assault, Vålberg
22.06. The police receive an alarm about a disorderly person who refuses to leave a residence they were previously invited to. The man allegedly went on the attack and kicked the homeowner before leaving the address. The patrol soon catches up with the man and takes him into custody according to LOB, the law on the detention of intoxicated persons. He is also suspected of assault of a normal degree. The man is in his 40s.
Assault, Karlstad
02.46. A man in his 60s is arrested in Tingvallastaden after assaulting a woman he has a relationship with, which was noticed by a security guard. The man has been violent towards the woman, but it is unclear whether she has sought medical attention. The man was arrested after prosecutor contact and is now suspected of unlawful threats and assault.
Assault, Arvika
00.45. A woman in her 35s is suspected of assaulting a man she has a relationship with. The woman has hit the man several times and tried to take valuables from him.
Theft through burglary, Årjäng
04.38. A security guard alerts the police due to a suspected burglary in a local premises in Årjäng. Upon arrival, no perpetrator is found, but the patrol photographs and files a report on theft through burglary. It is currently unclear whether anything has been stolen.
Several callers have alerted the police about drivers playing very loud music in several locations in the county. The patrols have handled these to the extent possible given the resources. Since July 1, 2021, the police can issue fines to those playing loud and disturbing music.
The police authority has also handled routine cases, such as checks on individuals and vehicles that did not result in any criminal suspicion, wildlife accidents, intoxication, mental health issues, and traffic controls. No serious crimes have come to the police's attention.
