A 17-year-old boy, who is charged with murder of a man in Västberga and two women in Tullinge, is not considered to be suffering from a serious mental disorder. This means that he can be sentenced to prison in the event of a guilty verdict, reports SVT Stockholm.
According to a statement from the National Board of Forensic Medicine, there are no medical grounds for committing him to forensic psychiatric care.
It was on October 12 last year that a 40-year-old father of small children was shot dead in a villa in Västberga. The following evening, two women, one in her 20s and one in her 60s, were shot to death in a villa in Tullinge.
The boy charged with murder was 16 years old at the time. Two other people are charged with complicity and a third for ordering the murders.
According to SVT, one of the persons is a 16-year-old girl. She has also undergone a forensic psychiatric examination, but no statement has yet been issued.
