The water in Lake Dalsjön in Västergötland is unfit for bathing, writes Borås municipality on its website and advises against bathing in the lake.
During the past weekend, around 50 people fell ill with fever and vomiting after bathing in the lake. After sampling, the municipality can confirm that the water is not suitable for bathing.
Borås municipality writes that it is investigating the cause and working to make it possible to bathe in the lake again soon.
