We are working with a police operation now to search for perpetrators. It's a villa area in Långbro, says the police's press spokesperson Per Fahlström.
Helicopter, dogs, and several patrols are participating in the operation. The police have located the crime scene outdoors in the villa area and cordoned off for technical investigation.
We haven't found anyone injured by gunfire or so, but we're working on the site, says Fahlström.
The police were alerted by a person who thought they heard bangs from firearms. The alarm came at 13:30 on Friday.
In schools in the area, students are being kept indoors, and the school entrances have been locked, according to Aftonbladet. Parents are being asked to pick up their children.
"Our full focus now is to take care of the students in this situation, and we have close contact with the municipal police," writes Zandra Jakobsson, principal of one of the schools, to the newspaper.
