A man in his 40s was taken to hospital by ambulance after being subjected to violence with a weapon in Härnösand on Saturday evening, according to the police.
According to Tidningen Ångermanland, the man had stab wounds, but was awake and able to talk at the hospital.
The alarm came just after 10 pm and two people in their 30s were arrested later in the evening and were detained during the night.
One is suspected of attempted murder and the other is suspected of aiding and abetting attempted murder, says Elisabeth Glaas at the police to TT.
