Carlos Alcaraz stands as the winner of this year's French Championships.
This after the 21-year-old won the final against Alexander Zverev.
The match was a five-setter and lasted over four hours before Alcaraz could finally seal the deal, 6–3, 2–6, 5–7, 6–1, 6–2. It is the world number one's first title at the French Championships and his third Grand Slam title in his career.
The Spaniard is now one of only seven men to have won a title on all three surfaces. He has previously won on grass at Wimbledon and on hard court at the US Open.
Alcaraz reached the final by beating the new world number two, Jannik Sinner, in the semi-final. The match was also a five-setter.
Winning the French Championships has been a big goal for the young star player.
Among the crowd in Paris were other Swedish tennis legends, Björn Borg and Mats Wilander. Borg was also honoured to act as the prize presenter after the final.
Last year's winner of the French Championships, Novak Djokovic, was forced to withdraw in the quarter-finals due to a knee injury.
