France, England and Portugal.

They get the most votes when the Swedish national team players guess which team will win the European Championship.

France are always strong, says Victor Nilsson Lindelöf.

As is well known, there was no European Championship for Sweden. A weak qualifying campaign and a third-place finish in the group were not enough to secure a ticket to Germany.

But which national team will actually win? If you ask the Swedish national team players, two countries clearly stand out: France and England.

Behind them is Portugal – who crushed Sweden in Jon Dahl Tomasson's first training match in March – as a clear contender. Some also mention Germany, including the national team's professionals in the country.

This is how the Swedish national team players tip:

Simon Olsson, Heerenveen, Netherlands.

France. They have a fine team, Mbappé is in form too. Holland must be mentioned as well.

Niclas Eliasson, AEK Athens, Greece.

Portugal. They have many good players and play good football.

"Maybe it's their turn this year"

Carl Starfelt, Celta Vigo, Spain.

England. They have a good team, I secretly believe in them.

Daniel Svensson, Nordsjælland, Denmark.

England. They have many good players this year.

Gustaf Nilsson, Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, Belgium.

England. They have a good team, but haven't managed to get it together before and have lost some finals. Maybe it's their turn this year.

Hugo Larsson, Eintracht Frankfurt, Germany.

Germany.

Victor Nilsson Lindelöf, Manchester United, England.

The first thing that comes to mind is Portugal. France are always strong. It will be one of those teams.

Yasin Ayari, Brighton, England.

France. A strong team with stars in all positions.

Anton Salétros, AIK, Sweden.

France. They have three aces who can play the European Championship.

Sebastian Nanasi, Malmö FF, Sweden.

England.

Viktor Johansson, Stoke, England.

In my book, it's between England and France.

Dejan Kulusevski, Tottenham, England.

I think Portugal will go far. They have incredibly good players and a good team. Germany has home advantage, they will surely go far too.

"I'm backing my Italians as favourites"

Alexander Isak, Newcastle, England.

Either France or Portugal.

Anthony Elanga, Nottingham, England.

Germany. They're at home and are strong.

Emil Krafth, Newcastle, England.

France or England.

Emil Holm, Atalanta, Italy.

I'm backing my Italians as favourites. A bit of underdogs.

Samuel Dahl, Djurgården, Sweden.

France.

Matteo Perez Vinlöf, Bayern München, Germany.

Since Germany is the host nation, I think they have a big chance.

Jens Cajuste, Napoli, Italy.

France.

The European Championship starts on Friday.
