Teenager Hugo Larsson became a starting player in the Bundesliga during his debut season.

The next goal is to write himself into the history books.

The men's national football team is gathered in Malmö ahead of the training match against Denmark at Parken in Copenhagen. For Hugo Larsson from Svarte outside Ystad, it is truly home turf and he has already seen his old club Malmö FF play in Allsvenskan.

When the Danes are waiting on the other side of the Öresund on Wednesday, it has been exactly one year since Larsson played his last home match for MFF. Later in the summer, the teenager left for Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt.

SUCCESS in Germany did not have to wait - in the third league round, Larsson won a starting position.

In total, it was 29 matches (21 of which were from the start) in the league and five more in the group stage of the Europa Conference League, but the spring was disrupted by injuries. It was also an injury that made Larsson have to leave the new national coach Jon Dahl Tomasson's first gathering in March when Sweden met Portugal and Albania.

He wants to change that. When he meets Swedish journalists in Malmö, it is mentioned that he said in an interview in Germany that he wants to become one of the best players in Swedish history. The quote was not entirely correct, but almost.

He has four years left on his contract with Eintracht Frankfurt, but another contract is soon to expire: the German lessons with a German teacher.

That sounds like something that only needs to be cleared up for your part?
