Lina Selleby, former member of the pop band Doktor Kosmos, is dead, reports Dagens Nyheter, citing a post from Selleby's former husband, Teet Sirotkin, on Facebook:
"So the brain tumor finally took Lina, positive and humorous to the end. Always concerned about others, and especially about the children [...] Sleep tight, dear you."
Selleby, also known as Twiggy Pop, was a member of the band Doktor Kosmos, which she also co-founded in 1991 together with Uje Brandelius and Martin Aagård. She also played with El Perro del Mar and Jenny Wilson.
Lina Selleby released her first solo single "The Day After" in 2023. At the beginning of 2024, she debuted as a solo artist with the album "Happiness".
She was 53 years old.
