Now, the Swedish star has recharged his batteries after the OS gold and is ready to compete again, this time by Lake Geneva in Swiss Lausanne.
The pole vaulters are the only ones competing on Wednesday evening, while the other Diamond League events will be decided indoors at the athletics arena on Thursday evening.

After the OS success, he and his girlfriend Desiré took a few days' vacation in Greece, before he went to Sweden to be celebrated at the beginning of last week.
Among the opponents in Lausanne are OS silver medalist Sam Kendricks, USA, as well as French pole vault legend and former world record holder Renaud Lavillenie.
