On Wednesday next week, the E6 will be re-opened past Stenungsund, following the landslide last autumn.
King Carl XVI Gustaf will be in attendance at the re-opening, reports P4 Väst.
However, when the road will open to traffic, the Transport Administration cannot yet confirm.
It is true that it will be re-opened then. But it will not open to traffic then, says Camilla Hentschel, communicator at the Transport Administration.
The exact date has not been announced yet. There are still some works to be completed and until we know when they are finished, we cannot give the exact date.
The stretch has been closed to traffic since the night of 23 September last year, when a major landslide caused extensive damage to, among other things, the motorway.
The Transport Administration has previously stated that the road will open to traffic again during the second week of July.
