In total, eleven young people with connections to the criminal network Foxtrot are convicted of assaults and preparations for assaults last autumn, according to a press release from Attunda District Court.

A boy, who was 15 years old at the time of the crimes, is convicted, among other things, of aggravated arson and preparation for general endangerment. Another boy, also 15 years old at the time of the act, is convicted, among other things, of incitement.

A man in his 20s is sentenced to six years in prison and deportation, among other things, for having incited several young people to set fire to residences on multiple occasions.

The crimes took place at night. In two cases, the perpetrators set fire to the outer door while the victims, including children, were sleeping.

The fact that the crimes were rooted in a gang conflict has been seen as a particularly aggravating circumstance in the assessment of the sentence.

Those who were under 18 years old at the time of the crimes are sentenced to youth penalties. Only three of the eleven were of legal age.

The convicted will also have to pay damages to several victims.
