"Enjoys when he performs in this way"

Goal scorer Sebastian Nanasi left for France. The heir was already in Malmö FF's squad – it's shining bright for Hugo Bolin right now. We're enjoying it when he performs in this way, says coach Henrik Rydström after the 4–0 win against Djurgården.

Malmö FF seems to have no problem finding a replacement for the Swedish national team player Sebastian Nanasi – the goal-scorer who recently left for the French Ligue 1 club Strasbourg.

When Djurgården was crushed in the series final at home, 21-year-old Hugo Bolin showed the way.

Class goal by Bolin

Sometimes you have the replacements already clear in the squad. Then it's important for Hugo's part to be consistent in his performances, but we enjoy when he performs like this, says MFF coach Henrik Rydström.

What Rydström, among other things, enjoyed was Bolin's 1–0 goal in the 12th minute in the series final against Djurgården. The 21-year-old was also behind Malmö's 3–0 goal, but it was booked as an own goal since the ball took a deflection off a defender.

I think I should get that goal. I aimed for the goal anyway, says Bolin with a smile.

His 1–0 goal was a real class goal. After captain Anders Christiansen made a brilliant turn on the midfield – something the Djurgården coach called a "science fiction turn" – Bolin could receive a long pass, cut into the penalty area and score the leading goal high in Djurgården goalkeeper Jacob Rinne's left corner.

Trained on the shot

The secret? Individual extra training with an external shooting coach after a team training session in the week.

It's someone I've trained with since I was little and she was in Malmö this week. We only did 15–20 minutes and trained only on the basics, it was exactly that shot we trained on. It was fun, says Hugo Bolin.

It was Bolin's seventh full hit in Allsvenskan this season. Five of the goals have come since the series started again at the beginning of July.
