The telecom concern Ericsson has landed a "multi-billion order" for 5G equipment from Indian telecom operator Bharti Airtel, reports Reuters citing sources.

Just last month, Ericsson was able to collect another Indian giant order, this time from Vodafone. The order was worth 3.6 billion dollars and was shared with Nokia and Samsung.

On Tuesday morning, the Swedish telecom giant will release its quarterly results.
