A 65-year-old man is sentenced to five years and six months in prison for aggravated assault of a female lawyer in Norrköping, local media reports.
The assault took place in connection with the victim's home in April this year and led to her suffering serious injuries and losing her sight in one eye.
According to the prosecutor, the man's motive can be linked to the woman's profession as a lawyer.
The suspect has been involved in a division of assets dispute where the plaintiff was the estate administrator, Vice Chief Prosecutor Pernilla Törsleff previously said to SVT News East.
A forensic psychiatric examination has previously shown that the man does not suffer or has not suffered from a serious mental disorder.
The man is also sentenced to pay damages totaling 560,018 kronor.
