Israel has carried out more deadly attacks on the Gaza Strip. In two cases, they were directed at residential buildings, according to information from the Palestinian civil defense in the Hamas-controlled area.

Six people were killed in an attack directed at a family home in the central parts of the city of Gaza late on Thursday evening. Another six are reported to have been killed in an attack on another residence early on Friday morning.

The Palestinian authorities count 15 dead in Israeli attacks since Thursday evening. Since the outbreak of war almost a year ago, they count more than 41,000 dead. They do not distinguish between civilians and combatants, but in the compilations, more than half are said to be women and children.

Israel has not commented on the latest attacks. The Israeli military insists that its attacks are directed at armed Hamas members and accuses them of putting civilians in danger.
