Pelle Olsson was fired from Halmstad at the beginning of August – now the football coach has found a new job.
The 61-year-old returns to Djurgården.
"I will work for the rest of the year with scouting to relieve the men's team during a match-intensive autumn", he says to the Allsvenskan club's website.
Olsson, who was coach in Djurgården 2014–2016, strengthens the organization to be able to deliver in Europe, according to sports manager Bosse Andersson.
"He is well-known in the association with solid experience from the football world where he has a lot of knowledge. Pelle will work until the turn of the year and it may eventually arise other questions that become relevant", he says.
Head coach Magnus Haglund was fired from the Allsvenskan bottom team Halmstad at the same time as Olsson.
