Several teams have the opportunity to qualify when it's time for matchday two in groups E and D.

But the big talking points revolve around Kylian Mbappé and Robert Lewandowski.

What: Slovakia-Ukraine, group E.

When: Friday 21 June, 15.00.

Where: Merkur Spiel-Arena, Düsseldorf.

+ The big goalkeeper question

After a heavy defeat against Romania (0–3), the match against Slovakia is now a must-win for Ukraine, who in their final group stage match face the toughest opponent on paper, Belgium.

In the meeting with Romania, Andrij Lunin stood in Ukraine's goal, after a fine season as a substitute for the long-term injured Thibaut Courtois at Real Madrid. But after double goalkeeper blunders in the premiere, the turn is now expected to go to Anatolij Trubin, who has had a good season at Benfica.

+ No pressure on Slovakia

Slovakia pulled off the championship's biggest upset so far when they won 1–0 against Belgium in their premiere. The team now has three points with matches against Ukraine and Romania remaining.

An advancement to the round of 16 is therefore not at all unlikely. It would be the second time Slovakia advances from the European Championship group stage since becoming an independent state in the early 1990s.

What: Poland-Austria, group D.

When: Friday 21 June, 18.00.

Where: Olympiastadion, Berlin.

+ Lewandowski back

After sustaining a thigh injury in the European Championship rehearsal against Turkey, Poland's big star, Robert Lewandowski, missed the opening match against the Netherlands.

The 35-year-old Barcelona striker is, however, expected to be playable in the meeting with Austria. The Polish public service channel TVP writes that Lewandowski participated in Monday's training. The thigh was bandaged, but the goal-getter seemed relaxed anyway.

+ Austria impressed

After Austria's meeting with France, there wasn't much talk about the match. All focus has instead been on France's Kylian Mbappé and his broken nose.

But in the shadow of Mbappé, Austria put in a solid performance against a gold-tipped France, despite a 0–1 loss. The match's only goal came through an own goal where Maximilian Wöber was last on the ball.

With their big star David Alaba, Real Madrid, injured, Austria has still shown strength, which can take the team to the round of 16.

What: Netherlands-France, group D.

When: Friday 21 June, 21.00.

Where: Red Bull Arena, Leipzig.

+ With or without Mbappé?

Not only France's biggest talking point, but also the entire European Championship's biggest talking point.

Kylian Mbappé nodded into Kevin Danso's shoulder in the match against Austria and broke his nose on Monday. Since then, it has been unclear when the superstar can return to play.

French RMC Sport has previously reported that Mbappé himself wants to play, and that it depends on how he feels with his new mask that is supposed to protect his face.

During Thursday evening, Mbappé trained in the mask, and much suggests that he will be able to play the match.

+ Depay or Weghorst?

In the Netherlands' opening match against Poland, Atlético Madrid's Memphis Depay started on top. The striker, however, made no major impact.

Instead, it was his substitute Wout Weghorst, Burnley, who came in and settled the match with his 2–1 goal.

The question now is who coach Ronald Koeman chooses to start with in the top match against France.
