It's the tenth time that Hellström is playing at Ullevi.
"It's a staggering figure that it's my tenth performance at Ullevi for someone who thought that the performance at Jazzhuset in May 2000 was to pass the finishing line. But then a voice in my head responds – screw it now, Håkan. Just keep going, don't apologize, just accept how crazy and big life has become", says Håkan Hellström in a press release.
Håkan Hellström is not doing any more performances at other locations in Sweden during the summer.
"We unfortunately won't be touring the country this time, but we'll try to reach staggering heights in Gothenburg this summer evening", promises the artist.
The tickets will be released on Friday, August 30.
Håkan Hellström's performance is a welcome message for Gothenburg, which has missed out on large summer concerts at its large arena this year. After 13 large performances in 2022 and eleven in 2023, there haven't been any concerts at all at Ullevi this summer 2024, as stars like Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift chose to perform in Stockholm instead.
