Goal scorer and starter in one of the Bundesliga's top teams this fall. It's going well for Hugo Larsson – in Eintracht Frankfurt. The young Swedish midfielder showed the way in the 2–0 win against Mönchengladbach.

A little over half an hour into the match, Larsson scored the leading goal, set up by Ansgar Knauff.

For the second match in a row, Larsson was involved in the decisive situations. Against Wolfsburg, he contributed with a crucial pass.

A hint of something to national team coach Jon Dahl Tomasson. The controversy between them was the big talking point during the Nations League gathering recently. Larsson got no playing time against Azerbaijan and was puzzled by Dahl Tomasson's criticism that he makes too few passes forward.

Before the meeting with Estonia, Larsson left the gathering citing a minor injury. A few days later, he trained with Frankfurt, who have started the league strongly with three straight wins after an initial loss.

The national team gathers in a little over two weeks before the matches against Slovakia and Estonia in the Nations League.
