A 20-year-old man is convicted of instigating the murder of a 29-year-old man who was shot dead at a school in Örebro last summer.
The shooting is believed to be a contract killing and is thought to be part of the conflict between Dalennätverket and Foxtrotnätverket, targeting Foxtrot.
The 20-year-old was charged with murder but is convicted of instigating murder. According to NA, he himself told the court that it was he who had hired the murderer.
The same man was earlier convicted of life imprisonment for shooting a man to death in Ulvsunda, west of Stockholm. The murder, which is also linked to Dalennätverket, occurred nine days before the murder in Örebro.
Since the 20-year-old is already sentenced to life imprisonment, no further punishment is imposed for the murder in Örebro, but he will have to pay compensation to the victim's relatives of over one million kronor.
A 19-year-old man who was charged with aiding and abetting is acquitted by the Örebro District Court.
