A 50-year-old man is being prosecuted at Uddevalla District Court, suspected of multiple cases of aggravated rape of children and aggravated child pornography offenses.
The rapes are alleged to have taken place in Lysekil Municipality between 2018 and 2019. The man is also said to have had over 7,000 files of child pornographic material.
A large amount of the material is considered particularly ruthless, and the material is also said to have been disseminated on multiple occasions.
The man has confessed to the crimes in police interrogations.
