The Swedish-Canadian company Lucara Diamond is surging on the Stockholm Stock Exchange after the company found yet another giant diamond in the mine in Botswana. The share is up 15 percent during the morning and has surged over 50 percent in the past month.
The latest find is 1,094 carats, not as large as the diamond found less than a month ago (2,492 carats). In a press release, the company writes that the stone has many similarities with a find from August 2023 that ultimately yielded a value of over 13 million dollars, equivalent to 132 million kronor.
