Norway's first two genuine dinosaur skeletons are being assembled at the Natural History Museum in Oslo right now.

The complete skeletons were found in a Native American reservation in Montana about 20 years ago and belong to the herbivorous hypacrosaurus family. Eventually, they were sold at an auction in Paris and purchased by the Norwegian Sparebankstiftelsen DNB. After 74 million years underground, they will be exhibited and shown to museum visitors from Saturday onwards.
The museum has previously had parts of various dinosaur skeletons and copies of genuine skeletons. Hurum thinks it's important to finally be able to display two genuine ones.
In an era characterized by the internet and social media, the authentic and genuine have become even more important, he says.
