The shooting in Västra Frölunda in Gothenburg on Saturday evening is not part of an ongoing gang conflict, according to the police.
A young man was injured when two perpetrators opened fire in a multi-family house on Saturday.
No one has yet been arrested in connection with the incident, which is classified as attempted murder and firearms offenses.
The shot man was taken to hospital but, according to the police, does not have life-threatening injuries.
