Elisabeth Svantesson believes that the only thing the opposition agrees on is that "people will have higher taxes", even with the government's and SD's proposal.

They are also remarkably in agreement that aid and immigration will increase, she says.

Svantesson emphasizes that the parties S, V, MP, and C are pulling in different directions on several points.

Overall, you don't know as a voter how it will turn out with unemployment insurance, taxes, or other parts, since the four parties have such vastly different approaches.

She claims that households and wage earners can be happy that it is the government's and SD's budget that will gain acceptance.

Our budget strengthens households more than the opposition's would do.

She is critical of the temporary bank tax of 16 billion kronor that the Social Democrats have presented in their motion and warns that it is the customers who will have to take the cost.

She also highlights that S in Stockholm and Göteborg locally raises taxes. According to the Ministry of Finance's calculations, it affects ordinary wage earners the most.

For me, there is some kind of hypocrisy in saying that you want to support households while actually making things more difficult in many ways.

S in Stockholm has motivated the tax increase by saying that the government gives too little to welfare.
