The Green Party wants violent Israeli settlers on the West Bank to be classified as terrorists if they operate on Palestinian territory, writes Aftonbladet.
The settlers use violence to intimidate the Palestinian population. The violence from the settlers is in our eyes a terrorist crime, says Jacob Risberg, the Green Party's foreign policy spokesperson, to the newspaper.
He states that the party will write a motion urging the government to drive the issue in the EU. Risberg, however, does not believe that there is currently a majority for such a motion in the parliament.
