The man is already known to the police and has been convicted several times for serious drink-driving. In the end, the police decided to seize the man's car, which was placed in a locked storage facility at the police station.

Suspicions quickly fell on the man, and indeed, the car was found at his home, with a thick layer of snow and ice covering the windscreen and roof. He is being prosecuted for gross trespassing and disobedience to a public authority's decision.
