Warning, crisis, and layoffs. But now there is a certain hope for the employees since the textile recycling company Renewcell in Sundsvall has new owners in the form of the private equity company Altor. Renewcell started operations in 2022 at the former paper mill Ortviken in Sundsvall. But the money ran out, and bankruptcy became a fact, especially since the major shareholder H&M did not want to provide new financing. Last Friday, the last of the approximately 100 employees went home. The company is now being renamed Circulose.
